Entertaiment is an activity enjoyed for the purpose of amusement. It includes anything from watching movies and TV to playing games or participating in sports. It also includes listening to music, reading books and magazines, or even visiting art galleries. It can be done by one person alone or in a group, and may involve social interaction, competition, or just relaxation. The word “entertainment” is derived from the Medieval Latin intertenere, from the prefix inter meaning “inside” and the suffix tenere meaning to hold or stretch.
