Entertaiment
Entertainment is the broadest of genres, including such activities as eating, drinking, music, dance, drama, and performance, which can be adapted to an individual; to two or more individuals at a banquet; to a group of any size at a party; to a theater audience; to performances for thousands; and to a global audience. Although entertainment is often associated with amusement, many of its forms may also have serious intent, such as a ceremony, celebration, religious festival, or satire. The word entertain has its roots in the Latin intertenere, from the prefix inter meaning “inside” and the suffix tenere meaning to hold inside.
